Thousands Across State Encourage Mufi to Run

Thousands of Hawaii residents on Oahu, Maui & the Big Island urge Hannemann to run for Governor at statewide rallies


On Oahu, business leaders, healthcare executives, community activists and other members of the Hawaii Filipino community gathered to encourage Mayor Mufi Hannemann to enter the 2010 gubernatorial race.  Click here to read about the Filipino rally in Honolulu. 

On Maui, more than 2,000 supporters packed the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in the largest political event on the island in more than 10 years. Click here to learn more about the Maui rally. 

And on the Big Island, NFL stars and several hundred Hawaii County residents cheered on Hannemann at a family event to benefit Hawaii Island Food Basket during President's Day. Click here to read more about the Big Island rally.
